Four Points by Sheraton at Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport

I checked in on the 11/05/23 and went to my classes for 2 days. Came back last night to get in my room, and your facility checked me automatically out. I'm guessing because I had only a few items in the room. Mind you, I was booked til the 11/09/23. I'm glad that I had grabbed the replaceable valuable, which was $2000, and that deals with my health. But the irreplaceable item that has Sentimental value It can not be replaced. Cause it was handmade by my fiance, which also helped me for my health she spent weeks on this item, and I want this back. The only reason I left this was because it was wet, and I'd figure to let it dry because I was coming back(it helps me with managing my back pain. when I check out, I got to the front desk and check out. After this encounterment I'll never stay at a 4 Point Sheraton or Sheraton hotel again.

I've stayed in many marriot hotels over the last several years. However this was my first experience with a Four Points. The hotel is close to lots of food options and the service was decent. However, the rooms are odd. The room I reserved indicated a 3 person capacity, yet there was only one king size bed with no pull-out bed or even a couch. I had to request a roll away bed which the staff obliged but it's just misleading that the rooms indicate a capacity for which there aren't enough sleeping spots. That being said, the room was clean, albeit not new and the TV could do with an upgrade to a model set up for streaming instead of cable. One really annoying thing about the hotel is the lobby. I'm not sure what they are going for but the fragrance in the lobby smells like they are trying to turn it into a Hollister or something. The scent is incredibly strong and overpowering to make you feel like they are trying to cover another smell up, or like you are 16 and trying to get ready for homecoming.

Our July 28-31, 2023 stay was outstanding in every way! The manager, Jessica, arranged for breakfast vouchers since we had a few difficulties with the reservation process in an international call center. One of our party arrived at 8:00 a.m. and was given an early check in. We arrived later and received a thoughtful gift bag of treats. MaKayla and Austin, at the reception desk, were pleasant and checked us in. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms had all the amenities. The breakfast was superb and Melissa and other servers were cordial and attentive! I'm impressed that every staff member went the extra mile in every way to make our stay memorable. The fitness center and pool were convenient and uncrowded. The Assistant Manager, Thomas Ward, was also helpful in promptly correcting an inadvertent error on our charges. I expressed to almost every staff member the following compliment: "On a scale of one to ten, you are a twenty!" I enthusiastically recommend this hotel and each staff member. They are outstanding in every way!

Lobby looks nice, check in was easy, and staff was nice. The hotel itself though was terrible. The TVs didn't work while my family stayed here, and the internet was down too. Was told right after we checked in that it would be fixed soon, but it never was. The elevator also broke so we had to take the stairs down from the top floor. For our troubles, the hotel did give us $30 off the bill (big whoop). But then the credit never showed up on our credit card. We had to fight with hotel management to give us the $30 they promised (even had a receipt from the front desk). In the end, all the trouble probably wasn't worth the $30, but I was already mad that I had to pay anything, so I was determined to get that credit.

Absolutely fantastic property with attentive, friendly, professional, and hospitable employees from the front desk to the restaurant. Some employees that mad my stay extra special were Jada, Maggie, Sue…. The fact I know so many of them by name speaks volumes to the impeccable customer service they ALL provided. I was met with smiles and waves every morning and afternoon and felt like I truly belonged. Fantastic restaurant with good fare - hotel shuttle service is very kind and accommodating. Beautiful views from rooms, great air conditioning, and one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at. There is a lot nearby, including an adjoining golf course. The front desk also is wonderful at providing recommendations for local attractions and fare. The pool was absolutely lovely as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay! I truly enjoyed it!

I’m posting as many stars as I can because I believe even if there was a lack in any department, between the “majority” of staff that they have - it’d be taken care of. However, there is one thing in which I am TRULY ASSURED !!! Mr THOMAS, of whom is the manager there will most assuredly take care of the issue without hesitation! I had the outside door key entry cover on the floor outside of my door, which wasn’t the best thing to see when opening my door to tell housekeeping, who was in the hall that I needed room assistance, but when God is in control - He can turn around any situation. The front desk is AMAZING ! Aside from my room key entry defect, I salute and celebrate ANNISA, JESSICA W., JADA, AMANDA and even the other Jessica that’s the Operations staff member. I was thoroughly impressed how Mr Ralph, the maintenance engineer came to assist and it didn’t even take him 3 minutes to get there to look into the problem. That was awesome - so grateful for that ! On the housekeeping staff, there was a lady named Alicia (hope I speeled it right) She can tear a room up - and I mean that in a GOOD WAY lol - she goes nonstop from room to room and has them looking so crisp that you can’t help but to feel at home ! Scott is another employee that really makes your stay pretty comfortable as well ! Things happen, and I’m not the type to do much complaining, unless there’s a legitimate concern- however the GOOD that I experienced here was so much greater than anything else. Very well ran establishment. I celebrate Mr Thomas E Ward for how he allows this place to function in addition to the other managers and staff ! Many blessings to him and them ! Blessings

Not happy with my stay.. I tried taking a shower only to find out that this hotel has very low water pressure which was either extremely hot or very cold.. no in-between.. I called the front desk to ask for a different room. SORRY sir no can do.. we'll send maintenance in the morning.. lol. So my advise to anyone looking for a decent night stay is to look elsewhere.
